Your shop's own saved labour times — this library starts empty on purpose and grows every time someone saves a time they looked up or used. There's no bought-in labour guide behind it: check the source sites (CHARM / LEMON links in the lookup) and save the times you trust.
Counted by appointment date for completed work orders (Completed and Contacted, Ready for Pickup, or Picked Up). Labour hours follow each labour line's tech; parts and everything else follow the work order's tech. Scheduled Hours = the booked length of that tech's completed work orders.
Counted by CLOSE date. Only owners and positions with the edit-work-orders permission see this — profit figures stay off mechanic accounts.
They still create their own account with that email on the sign-in screen — being on this list is what lets them in. Position controls what they can do (see Permissions below). Link a Mechanic to their technician record so they get the “Show only my jobs” filter.
What each position can do. The Owner always has every permission. Changes apply the next time each person loads the app.
One group per line: Group name: item, item, item. This is the checklist that appears on every work order's inspection.
No date or time — this creates an estimate: a work order you can build jobs on and pitch, then schedule later from the Estimates list or the work order itself.
Quote more work for this customer without leaving the work order. Jobs built here have their own subtotal and tax and are not part of this work order's totals or final bill. If the customer approves, add them to this work order — or just close this window and the estimate stays saved in the Estimates list, ready to book later.
